Ala Carte is back on ntv7 with Season 3, new chef, new recipes
Ala Carte, the all-time favourite television cooking programme on ntv7, is back with an allnew variety of local and international dishes throughout its 13 episodes. Ala Carte season 3 will air every Wednesday, 7.30pm starting 27th July 2011.
Celebrity Malaysian chef Norman Musa's tour of the UK & Ireland continued at the weekend with his highly anticipated appearance at the Cardiff International Food & Drink Festival.
With the iconic Millennium Centre as the backdrop, the food festival at Cardiff Bay was buzzing with thousands of visitors which is a highlight of the Welsh capital's summer-long city festival. Attracting a capacity crowd to both his Saturday and Sunday cooking demonstrations in the John Lewis food theatre, Chef Norman wowed the audience in creating an authentic Kari Laksa Udang (Prawn Curry Laksa) and Rendang Ayam (Chicken Rendang).
Authentic Malaysian food hit Nottingham city centre with a storm earlier this month as upcoming Malaysian restaurant Nada Budaya made its debut.
Nada Budaya, which is due to be officially launched in the presence of local and Malaysian dignitaries and pop stars on 8 September 2011, ran a street food stall at the Nottingham Food & Drink Festival market in the city's Old Market Square.
