A Myriad of Colours, a Harmony of Flavours

The Malays, Chinese, Indians, Peranakan, the indigenous people, Iban, Kadazan and a multitude of other ethnic groups make up the multicultural Malaysia. To each belong an ethnic cuisine and the beauty of it all is that these cuisines remain distinct and yet they also naturally fuse together. Malaysian cuisine is very much a reflection of its people.

Not rigid. Flexible. Accommodating.

You can cook it super spicy or very mild and both ways are still identifiably Malaysian. Venture into the hospitable homes of the Malaysians and experience food cooked in the manner of past generations, faithfully passed on like a family heirloom. Venture into the streets where hawker foodstalls are dotted everywhere catering to mass popular tastes. Natural fusion. However way you like it you will find it. All that is left to do is to eat in the Malaysian style. Malaysian style? Why not discover this yourself?
